Shugo Chara

Shugo Chara: 51 Episodes
Shugo Chara Doki!: 51 Episodes
Shugo Chara Party: 25 Episodes

This anime shows that everyone of us has their own eggs on our hearts where our true-self and dreams are, hidden deep within our consciousness. It's really interesting how it makes you realize that its never too late to find your true self but this anime also entertains you with its endless fluff and crazy heart racing scenes!

The Shugo Charas (also known as Guardian Characters) are their would-be-selves. Their Shugo Chara's personalities are the ones they want to be. For example, you are a quiet and reserved person but inside you truely want to be the life of the party thus born of your Shugo Chara's personality. Some people who give birth to their Shugo Chara's have the same personality because they know who they really want to be.

Hinamori Amu, our heroine, hides her true self from using her "cool & spicy" exterior personality. It was only a misunderstanding of her shyness but as she grew up, she was known as that and couldn't part from it. It really quite suffocating pretending something you are not but we constantly fear of being given negative remarks that's why we usually tend to fake to avoid embarrassment.

Since she joined the Guardians, the student council, at the Seiyo Academy who has shugo charas the same as hers. She became more open with herself and learned how to have fun without worrying what they'll think if she act differently from her usual exterior personality. Each of them had unique characters and their adventure begun from purifying X eggs and X characters, eggs who's owners started denying their dreams, helping those who started doubting their dreams to see things better and searching for the embryo that will grant their wish.

They were not alone in their quest, Easter, a company who also searches for the embryo for their beloved Gozen. They usually clash because of the method Easter use to look for the embryo, they manipulate people's hearts to bring out their heart's eggs out and turning it into an x egg filled with negative energy that destroys the dreams of the owner just to lure out the embryo.

I would be lying if I said I didn't got more into this anime if it weren't for this sexy-perverted-thieving-cat that probably swoon most of the anime fans. His an enemy and that's a given fact but he still cares for Amu not wanting her to be in danger. The only problem for him is that he tends to be silent, not voicing out things that matters. I agree at the comment below, don't you agree? XD

I don't know how much I squealed in delight and probably grinned like an idiot (which thankfully no one saw me doing :p) from the scenes on how he shows his affection to Amu. I find it hard to continue to watch Amuto moments because my face is heating up while i roll in my bed like crazy because its simply too much for a fan girl's heart! ♥
HOW CAN YOU NOT SQUEAL AT THOSE?!

Utau's songs are all great! (voiced by Nana Mizuki) Her voice is so soothing to the ears of the listener and I like the beat of the song and the mellow ones, they're so touching. I got so hooked to her songs that I made a playlist of it in my phone!

This is my favorite from all of her songs, it has the up beat and the lyrics are encouraging. it tells you that you should be happy and pay no mind to those who gossip you on the back, just stand tall and seize the day. Pretty much like Carpe Diem.

One more thing I love here is FASHION. Amu and Utau has a sense of style that made me want to go shopping and experiment with my clothes. Turning simple ones into a whole new level with just a little touch with the right accessories and complimenting garments.

This anime thought me that good things or rather great times must come to and end but there is always a new beginning shining brightly. You can overcome impossible things if you just believe in  yourself and in others. Would-be-selves are our hidden potential and if we exert an effort to search for them inside us we can do things we never thought we could. People are different from the inside to what they are showing on the outside but you can crack their shell by reaching out a hand to them.
